Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 28 August 2026
As a small private business, SEVA isn't legally required to meet the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations 2018 — those apply to public sector organisations. We're building this site to a good accessibility standard anyway, both as good practice and in the spirit of the Equality Act 2010.
Our commitment
We aim for this website to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA — the widely recognised standard for web accessibility — as closely as we reasonably can, and to keep improving it over time.
What we've done
- Semantic, structured page markup so screen readers can navigate the site logically.
- A "skip to content" link for keyboard users, so they don't have to tab through the full navigation on every page.
- Visible keyboard focus states on every link, button and form field.
- Full keyboard control of every interactive element, including our homepage's glass-clarity slider, which can be operated with the arrow keys as well as by touch or mouse.
- Motion and animation are reduced automatically for visitors whose device is set to "reduce motion."
- A responsive layout that adapts to phone, tablet and desktop screens.
- Colour choices considered for contrast throughout the site.
Known limitations
- The homepage clarity slider communicates a "before/after" effect partly through colour — we mitigate this with a numeric percentage readout alongside it, but a fully colour-independent alternative hasn't been built yet.
- This site currently has no photographic images, so a full image alt-text audit hasn't been necessary yet; this will be revisited once real photography is added.
- We haven't yet run a full third-party accessibility audit — this statement reflects our own good-faith assessment.
Feedback
If you have difficulty using any part of this website, please tell us — email sportsenvironments@outlook.com and we'll aim to respond within 2 business days and fix genuine barriers where we reasonably can.
Review
We'll review this statement whenever the website changes significantly, and at least once a year.
